Dear Friends,
A lot has happened in Twabuka. The school resumed classes as usual in early September for a semester that ended on December 8.
Throughout the entire quarter, our cafeteria was open, serving two meals a day to more than 300 students and school staff. This was made possible thanks to your donations, donations from friends in the United States, and the 5×1000 program.
We are attaching some of the photos we have received from the school during this period, as well as copies of the payments made to the Twabuka school from early August through today (three payments of 2,400 euros each).
We are also enclosing a donation of 250 euros made on December 27 to our local volunteer, who works with a group of children living on the streets in Livingstone and whom we have known for over ten years.
Thank you to all of you who have helped us in 2023, and a special thanks to Liam and Bill, who traveled all the way to Zambia this year to visit our projects! Thank you, and Merry Christmas to you and your families.
Thank you on behalf of the Twabuka community!
