The Zambian government has announced that, starting today, classes will resume for students who are set to take exams. For Twabuka, this means that 7th and 9th grade classes will resume starting today. Starting August 16 (following the general election to be held in Zambia on August 12), all classes are scheduled to resume as usual. These measures were implemented following the apparent decline in COVID-19 cases in the country and are subject to review and assessment every three weeks. We’re hopeful! In the meantime, we’ll be adjusting the frequency of the donations—after consulting with the school—and we’ll keep you updated in the coming days!
