October 2022 Payment

September 30, 2022

Here are some simple but, I think, beautiful photos that arrived from Twabuka today, showing breakfast and lunch at our school cafeteria. Every day—thanks to everyone’s help—more than three hundred students receive two meals, which are simple but nutritious. The looks, smiles, and laughter in these photos are a wonderful way for the community to say thank you—a community we hope to visit again soon.

Attached is a copy of the payment made to the school.

September 2022 Payment

Hi!
Here are the photos we received from the school: similar but beautiful images of the project that’s quietly moving forward and providing two meals a day to the students (over three hundred). The principal extends her heartfelt thanks to our friends in Italy who continue to generously support the cafeteria so it can run smoothly… Even the director of the Zambian bank (ZANACO)—where the school has its account and where the money we send is deposited—expressed his gratitude for the project during a video call! Our thanks go out to all of you!

July 2022 Payment

July 5, 2022

Dear friends,
The school in Twabuka suspended classes a few days ago for the usual monthly break in August. It will reopen in early September, and we’ll be ready to resume classes and reopen the school cafeteria, which will continue—as it has for years—to serve two meals a day to the school’s more than 300 students.

Attached is a copy of the payment made to the school and some of the photos that the principal has been sending us regularly of the classes and the cafeteria in operation (and, of course, of the payment made).

Dear friends,

Attached is the payment of 2,400 euros sent today to the school in Twabuka. Next Monday, May 9, classes will resume after the spring break, and with the resumption of classes, our school cafeteria will also resume operations, providing two meals a day to the school’s more than 300 students and teachers. Thank you as always for your help!!! We’re moving forward, step by step!
