Today is the first day of vacation in Twabuka which will remain closed until September 4th . Since the last message we have sent two payments of €2,400 to support the Twabuka school canteen for the months of June and July , and €3,00 to support the activities of Claudia Lubinda’s project which provides a primary education service for the street children of Livingstone .
In May we also had a visit to Twabuka from Bill and his wife Margi in Zambia (Bill and Margi along with Neil and Cindy have been helping us with donations for over 5 years!) who came from the United States to visit the school and the project, bringing back great news and beautiful photos!
Best wishes and thanks always: we’ll talk again in September for a new beginning!!

Classes resumed today at the Twabuka school, as did the school cafeteria service. To make this possible, thanks to your help, last week we sent a donation of 2,400 euros, which will cover the cafeteria’s expenses for the next 30 days (for the school’s more than 300 students).

Attached is the payment of 2,400 euros sent to the school in Twabuka to support the school cafeteria for the more than 300 students and their teachers. The principal has already replied, expressing her gratitude on behalf of the entire school, which will be “forever indebted to our group.”
We, on the other hand, don’t feel we’re owed anything by anyone, and we’re always happy to see this project going well, but we hope the director’s thanks reach each and every one of you!

We are announcing a donation of 2,400 euros made to the Twabuka school’s account to support the school cafeteria for the next 30 days for the school’s more than 300 students. Half of the funds come from our American friends (who will be visiting us in Rome in May!) and the other half from your donations. Thank you as always!!!

The 5×1000 donation for our project has arrived. Every school day, the cafeteria serves more than 300 students… a major undertaking made possible by your ongoing support.

Friday, December 2, was the last day of school in Twabuka (and in Zambia) before the Christmas break. Classes will resume on January 9, and we’ll be ready—even as the new year begins—to support the school cafeteria for the hundreds of children and students at the school: this is all thanks to your continued help! Thank you on behalf of the Twabuka community.
