Greetings from the Zwelopili reading room in Livingstone, which we helped complete in recent years, located in a very poor area of Livingstone.
Last summer, we brought some educational materials that we had purchased locally. This Christmas, we were thinking of telling these children about our little gift (they don’t know anything about it—it’ll be a surprise): about thirty euros worth of supplies each month, for a year, for chalk, paper, crayons, and other art supplies.
Our local representatives, Kelly and Claudia, will handle the purchases on a case-by-case basis and oversee their use in the reading room.
