We’ve received some photos from Livingstone (sent by Claudia from the Zwelopili reading room) showing how children are being taught hygiene practices to combat the virus, primarily: social distancing, handwashing (even though access to water isn’t a given for many), and greeting each other without physical contact. There are currently 36 confirmed cases in Zambia. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the virus remains limited to just a few cases and that school can reopen soon!
