Dear friends,
Schools in Zambia—including the school in Twabuka—were scheduled to reopen next Monday, January 10.
Unfortunately, the rapid spread of the Omicron variant has led local authorities to postpone the return to in-person classes (for now) to Monday, January 24.
We are in constant contact with the principal to coordinate the resumption of the school lunch program with her.
